



This is a sledge hammer from a game called Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Siege, it is from an operator called Sledge who uses his hammer to knock down walls/ windows. To make this I started of with a cube, I stretched the shape out to match the picture i used and I added in edge loops to the shape, each indent of the handle has a vertex which i pushed in to create the distinct shape. I beveled the top of the shape to give it a more curved look and make it look more realistic. I used a picture of the hammer as a guideline and matched the vertices with the picture. To make this model better I could have UV’d it, this would make a texture look better and then I could off used a skin off the internet so I could of completely show how the actual hammer looks in game. This would have allowed me create a normal map on the object, this would make little bumps in the texture to make it look like the in game hammer.
